Water, Sewer, and Trash Rates

WATER:

  • Base Rate………………………….…………………………………$6.50
  • Over 1000 gallons – under 50,000 gallons……………….……….$4.25 per 1000 gallons

Water Minimum Base Rate is based on a ratio of meter size in accordance to the American Water Works Association (“AWWA”) established standards. For the purposes of calculating ratio, the minimum base rate for 5/8″ or 3/4″ factor equals one (1).

Water rates are double for anyone outside the city limits.

SEWER:

  • Base Rate……………………………………………………….$16.50
  • Usage Charge…………………..………………………………$7.22 per 1000 gallons

Sewer rates are double for anyone outside the city limits.

SANITATION (TRASH):

Sanitation & Recycling Schedule
Meridian LogoThe Troy Board of Alderman have entered into an agreement with Meridian Waste Solutions (formally Christian Environmental Services) to provide solid waste, recycling and yard waste collection for the residents of Troy. The routing will be implemented and the City will be divided out into four sections and trash, recycle and yard waste will be picked up on the same day in each quadrant.
