Wastewater Treatment

The City of Troy’s wastewater system serves a population of approximately 10,500. The City currently owns and operates two treatment plants. One is an extended aeration plant and the other is a Membrane Bio-Reactor plant. This facility features extensive screening and membrane filtration to produce an effluent of exceptional quality. The Wastewater Treatment Department is a 4 member department that operates and maintains the City’s Wastewater Treatment plants and 12 City owned lift stations.
