Public Works Department

The Department of Public Works maintains all City buildings, parks, properties, vehicles, roadways, right of ways, and City owned utilities and infrastructures. The city-owned utilities and infrastructures include storm water, sanitary sewers, and the water distribution systems.

Troy Public Works is a fifteen member department that strives to address all citizen concerns and questions. We are devoted to providing a wide range of municipal services in a professional and organized manner. We work closely with the other city departments, as well as the Lincoln County Highway Department and the Missouri Department of Transportation, to provide a safe, trouble-free environment for the community to live within.

The City of Troy is a member of the Missouri One Call System and will locate underground city utilities upon request. To schedule utility marking, please contact Missouri One Call at 1-800-344-7483 at least forty-eight hours prior to your dig date. The City participates for the safety of our utilities and our citizens. So we urge you to be safe and use the no cost service.
