The Finance Department is responsible for the administration and coordination of all financial functions for the City of Troy. The department ensures accuracy of financial reporting and accountability to taxpayers.
Accounting functions performed by this department include: preparation and administration of the annual budget, coordination of the annual audit, management of investments, processing of accounts payable, as well as oversight of the functions of utility billing, payroll and the municipal court, and the maintenance of an internal control system that adequately safeguards the assets of the City.
The City of Troy contracts with the Lincoln County Collector for collection of its real estate and property taxes. For inquiries in regard to property taxes, please call the Collector’s office at 636-528-6300.
